Conant Library – For StudentsBorrowing Textbooks/Course Items on Reserve
Conant Library maintains course and textbook reserve collections accessible to students enrolled in specific courses.
The textbook reserves collection includes textbooks purchased by the library that list for over $40 as well as textbooks placed on reserve by Nichols College faculty members for use by students in their courses.
Items placed on course reserve by faculty members include books, articles, audiovisual materials, study guides and other supporting material.
Both the course and textbook reserve collections are located at the Circulation Desk. Items may be borrowed for 2 hour in-library use only. Students needing to borrow reserve items for more than 2 hours may inquire at the circulation desk about renewing for another 2 hours. A Nichols ID card is required at the time of borrowing, which will be held until the reserve item is returned.
To determine whether we have a particular item on reserve please stop by the circulation desk or check online by clicking on the “Reserves” tab over the WorldCat Discovery search box on the Library’s homepage and search by either course or instructor.
