The Bison Pantry provides Nichols students with confidential access to food, hygiene items, and other basic necessities to support student well-being and reduce food insecurity on campus.
The pantry offers ingredients that support balanced meals aligned with the MyPlate model, including fruits, grains, vegetables, protein, and dairy, along with additional essentials such as hygiene products, school supplies, and seasonal clothing.
The goal of the Bison Pantry is to ensure students have the basic resources they need to support their academic and personal success.
Who Can Use the Pantry
All Nichols students are eligible to request a Bison Pantry Card, including:
- Full-time students
- Part-time students
- Residential students
- Commuter students
- Graduate students
Pantry Location & Hours
- Wednesdays: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Location: Copper Beech 1, Lobby – Room 102
If you cannot attend during pantry hours, you may request an alternate pickup time.

How to Access the Pantry?
- Complete the Bison Pantry Card Request Form
- You will receive an email with instructions to pick up your card in FELS 314 (Student Life Suite).
- Bring your Bison Pantry Card when visiting the pantry.
Applications are reviewed Mondays and Fridays, so response times may vary.
What You Can Receive?
Students may select up to 12 items per visit, including:
- Frozen foods
- Refrigerated items
- Dry goods
- Hygiene and household supplies
Privacy and Respect
The Bison Pantry operates with a strong commitment to dignity and privacy. Students are identified by pantry card numbers rather than by name during standard pantry operations.
