Off-campus Travel

Travel leader(s), chaperones, students, and a designated Nichols home contact comprise travel teams.

Off-campus travel is defined as any trip away from the campus taken by students, sponsored by a faculty/staff travel leader and approved by the appropriate department.

Please review the guidelines prior to organizing your event so all paperwork and approval forms are completed properly. All faculty/staff led off-campus travel requires the travel leader to complete the travel registration form and conduct a pre-departure orientation where all risks are assessed. (Please review the Risk Assessment Form in the link below) Travel leaders must also secure a designated home contact. A list of home contacts is provided in the travel registration form. The travel leaders must first be sure the person is willing and able to serve as the home contact.

All student travelers must complete the corresponding forms.

All forms are due two week prior to the departure date.
