New & Transfer Student Housing

Opens on May 11, 2026 to all deposited incoming students.

Complete the “New & Transfer Student Housing Application 2026-2027” on your MyHousing Portal.

• Go to MyHousing Portal.
• Log in & Start Application
  • Click the “Applications” tab
  • Select “New & Transfer Student Housing Application 2026-2027”
• Sign the Housing Agreement
  • Sign/type your name in the box and click “Continue”
• Complete the questionnaire and click “Continue”
• Fill out:
  • Primary Address
  • At least one Emergency Contact and one Missing Persons Contact
• Complete the application and click “Submit”

Update Your Roommate Profile

1. On the MyHousing Portal, click “My Nichols College Info”, then “Roommate Profile”
2. Roommate Visibility:
   • If your profile is private, no one can search for you.
   • Fill out your roommate profile and click “Update Roommate Profile”

Choosing a Roommate(s)

1. On the MyHousing Portal, click “Roommate Selection”, then “Roommates/Suitemates”
2. Search & Request Roommate:
   • If you already know your roommate, search by name
   • If not, use search criteria to filter by preferences
   • Click “Request Roommate” once found

Accept/Deny Roommate Requests

1. Click the three dots next to a request
2. Accept a request: Click the person + icon
3. Decline a request: Click the trash can icon
