Student Handbook

This Student Handbook is designed to serve as a guide for members of the Nichols College community. It includes important policies, procedures, campus resources, and the Student Code of Conduct. All students are expected to familiarize themselves with the contents of this handbook and are responsible for understanding and upholding the expectations outlined within it. Students are also responsible for knowing the requirements specific to their academic programs and areas of involvement. The Nichols College Course Catalog contains additional information related to academic policies, programs of study, and institutional procedures. Certain programs and student populations, including but not limited to student-athletes and specialized academic majors, may have additional expectations. Students should consult with their academic advisor, dean, or program director for more detailed information.

Concerns, Assessment, Referral, & Education (CARE) Team

What is the CARE Team?

The Concerns, Assessment, Referral, & Education (CARE) Team is a group of professionals from across the campus and across disciplines that reviews cases and implements timely interventions for student situations where student behavior raises concern. The goal is always to fashion a careful and appropriate outreach or intervention to students who are struggling in or outside the classroom and to monitor students in need.
